One of my favorite parts of Utah is heading down to Cedar City for the Utah Shakespeare Festival. There is so much to see and experience, take in more festival activities by attending greenshows, tours, seminars, orientations and much more.
Escape from the mundane this summer by checking out the popular Utah Shakespeare Festival. A favorite for residents and non-residents alike, the Utah Shakespeare Festival attracts around 130,000 people each year for a taste of classic and contemporary plays. With an impressive 2014 line up, you will not want to miss Sense and Sensibility, Into the Woods, Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure...to just name a few.
While you are down South, head to St. George for some shopping, explore the Cedar City Canyon and the wondrous National Parks.
Zion National Park is one of my favorite destinations to escape the biting cold and enjoy another aspect of the many wonders of Utah. The park is home to some breathtaking freestanding arches which continue to impress visitors time and again. A short distance away stands the spectacular Kolob Canyons with their deep red Navajo sandstone and rugged cliffs.
Zion offers many activities for all ages, including: Hiking, Horseback Riding, Birding, Bicycling, Camping, Backpacking, River Trips and much more.
What one of your family's favorite thing to do in the summer? Do you have a favorite National Park?
