Bargain Shopping, What You Should Never Buy Used

Who doesn't want to find a deal? With KSL, Craigslist and eBay it is easy to find something at a great price but is the savings really worth it? Although most things are great to buy used there are some things you always want to buy new.

The first one being Mattresses. Though buying a mattress can be costly, it is worth this investment because you never know where the used on has been. Things like bodily fluids, mold, mildew, and pet dander are not always visible to the naked eye. Plus, there are always the likelihood of bringing bed bugs into your home. When you think of all the gross and healthy issues that can arise, the price of a new mattress is looking better.

Car seats. Having a new car seat is really worth the peace of mind knowing your child is safe. Car seat safety regulations change often, ensure yours meets the safety requirements by having one of the latest models. Plus, it is not always easy to tell if something is wrong with a car seat or is broken somewhere.

Bike Helmets are the other thing you should always buy new. As with the car seats, this comes to safety and knowing you are protected if you have an accident. There is no way to know if there is damage to the interior of the helmet.

Share your thoughts. Is there anything you would add to the list?
