The Joy of Sledding

Things are looking up ~ fresh snow has arrived and the weekend is almost here! Why not spend some time outside sledding? A favorite past time for many, there is something about gliding down the snow covered hills which bring out the kid in all of us.

If you are interested in trying a new sledding venue or are not sure where to go, there are lots of great places to go sledding and tubing around Utah. Rock Canyon Park in Provo is a great place for families where an array of hills are available so if you have small children there is a spot with less steep hills. Remember to always use precaution and stay safe when you go out.

Some fun facts, did you know sleds where originally developed haul loads over snowy terrains before it grew in popularity for recreation?

Where do you like to go sledding? What other fun things do you enjoy doing in the winter?
